Furthermore, Xi stressed that a political solution should adhere to international law.
President Xi reiterated that Palestinians should govern their own territories, especially in relation to the administration of the West Bank and the reconstruction efforts in Gaza. His comments came as part of a broader reaffirmation of China’s stance on the issue, aiming to promote stability and peace in the region.
The dialogue between President Xi and King Abdullah also covered the enhancement of the strategic partnership between China and Jordan. Both leaders expressed a commitment to expanding cooperation across various sectors, including trade, infrastructure, and transportation. They identified digital technology, artificial intelligence, and green energy as key areas for future collaboration.
