Oman and India have strengthened their strategic alliance, focusing on enhancing cooperation in key areas such as trade, investment, energy, logistics, and emerging technologies. High-level talks were held in Muscat on Friday between Oman’s Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, and India’s External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar. The discussions underscored their shared commitment to advancing bilateral ties and exploring new avenues for collaboration.

During the meeting, the ministers reviewed the robust relationship between their countries, emphasizing the importance of deepening business partnerships and fostering high-quality investments. They highlighted the potential for new economic opportunities that would be mutually beneficial, seeking to enhance cooperation across various sectors.

Regional and international issues were also on the agenda, with a particular focus on ensuring maritime security in the Strait of Hormuz.
